Creation of a transmedia artifact from a story by Italo Calvino, Italian writer.

The project stems from Italo Calvino's fairy tale, Assassino senza mano, from Fiabe Italiane. Faced with the request to create a transmedia translation of the fairy tale in a new communicative artifact, after a careful analysis we came to the design of an application that would serve as a reflection on the misunderstandings of communication. In fact, the goal was not to reproduce the story as Calvin wrote it, but the proposal was to translate into a new communicative artifact themes and characteristics of the story. MessApp is therefore a webApp that, by putting two or more players in dialogue and making them play, makes them reflect on the problem of incommunicability through an algorithm. In this case, a player has to make another player guess a word by finding new words, while the algorithm will change the sentences typed.
